About Me

Bringing the village back to the postpartum period

My name is Elli Bradshaw, and I am the Moon Doula. I am committed to guiding women, mothers, birthing people and their families through the postpartum journey, making it filled with unwavering support, care and giving you more space to enjoy the wonder.

As they say… it takes a village.

I trained as a Developing Doula back in 2022 when I was pregnant with my son and am also a registered Social Worker. Throughout my career, I have specialised in advocating for women in transitional life stages and moments of crisis. My approach is rooted in providing non-judgemental, strengths-based support that stems from a place of deep solidarity and compassion.

My services span the birthing spectrum, from comprehensive birth prep to nurturing postpartum support. I also offer birth trauma debriefing services that are considerate and transformative, designed to provide solace and healing.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Why am I called the Moon Doula?

I used to live in Australia and was blown away one day when I overheard someone saying that they were ‘on their moon’, when they were having their period. This created a shift in the way I saw my own cycle, deeply connected with that satellite way up in the night sky.

There is power in our moons and all that it entails, from bleeding to birth, from maiden to mother and then matriarch, and I’m here for it all.
